where i live, they’re not eight bucks,
and i’m pretty sure they’re not anywhere.
here, they cost between $15 and $30ish
you can get them at a dancewear store
or at payless (they carry some adult sizes).
or secondhand from a dance academy.
have fun in ballet

a few things
1: you can’t always find white ballet shoes in all brands
2: price depends on material. leather and canvas are couple of $’s apart
3: russian pointe is pointe shoes, sorry
4: you can always sew on your own elastics in a criss cross
5: do you want split sole, or whole sole?????
try these websites, i highly suggest the first one
hope these help

My Bloch ballet slippers were around 30 dollers for the split-sole. I believe the full sole ones are cheaper, but with the split sole, you can see your pointed toes better. Oh, and usually you sew your elastics on. So that way, you have the choice of straight across, or in the ‘x’. Personally, I like the ‘x’ better (it looks more professional) Grats on making it in ballet!
Hope this helps, have a nice day!!
